Bat Nesting Box for a Natural Garden

The box is made of wood and has dimensions of 38 cm cm long, 14 cm cm wide and 16 cm cm high. The material is entirely wood, with a green top and wooden bottom. Here's how to hang the bat nesting box: choose a quiet spot away from bright light and noise, preferably sunny or partially shaded with at least 6 hours of sun per day, facing south, southeast or southwest. Ensure a clear flight path and attach to a tree trunk or wall. Place the box preferably near food sources such as ponds, streams or forest edges where many insects occur. Hang the box at 3–5 meters high to protect bats from predators. Multiple boxes increase the chance of occupancy. Hang preferably at the end of winter/beginning of spring or in autumn and leave the box hanging all year round.
