Returns
14-day cooling-off period
At Bopets you can return your purchase within 14 calendar days of receipt, in accordance with Belgian distance selling legislation (Book VI of the Belgian Code of Economic Law). No reason is required.
Received a wrong or unordered product?
If the goods we delivered do not match the items listed on the delivery note or do not correspond to the items you ordered, you must report this as soon as possible and within 3 days. The items must be returned to us within 14 calendar days of receipt.
How to return?
To return a product, follow these steps:
- Notify us of your return
Send a request to care@bopets.eu with your order number and the products you wish to return. A team member will then contact you. - Pack the product
Pack the product carefully in the original packaging (if possible). Make sure the product is unused and in its original condition. - Ship the parcel
Send the parcel to the return address we provide. The return shipment must be sent within 14 days of your withdrawal notification.
Important: if you return goods within 14 days of purchase because you prefer not to keep them, you are responsible for the shipping costs.
Return conditions
To be eligible for a return, the product must meet the following conditions:
- The product is unused and in its original condition
- The product is preferably in the original, undamaged packaging
- All included accessories and documentation are present
- The return has been reported within 14 days of receiving the order
Return costs
When returning goods that bring the invoice total below €70, a shipping fee will be charged on our part. This is because the customer no longer meets the €70 purchase threshold and the original free shipping no longer applies.
For returns because you prefer not to keep the product, shipping costs are at your own expense. If the product was damaged or incorrectly delivered, Bopets will cover the return costs.
Exceptions
The following products cannot be returned:
- Opened pet food: food with opened packaging cannot be returned for hygiene reasons
- Hygiene products: products with broken seals (such as grooming products)
- Custom-made products: items made to order or to custom specifications
- Perishable products: products that can spoil quickly or have a limited shelf life
Product damaged during shipping?
If you have received goods from us that were damaged during transport, please report this immediately upon receipt via care@bopets.eu. To claim compensation, please include clear photos of:
- The outside of the packaging
- The inside of the packaging
- The damaged goods themselves
Refund
After receiving and inspecting the returned product, we will process your refund:
- We inspect the returned product within 5 business days of receipt
- Upon approval, the purchase amount (excluding original shipping costs) will be refunded
- The refund will be made via the same payment method used for your order
- The refund will be processed within 14 days of return approval
