Nest Box Blue Tit 28mm FSC® – Emma's Garden

This nest box is specially designed for blue tit, long-tailed tit and coal tit. In areas where natural nesting sites are scarce, nest boxes can play an important role in preserving these bird species. By hanging a nest box, you can attract these birds, which can help with natural pest control in your garden.

The nest box is made of solid FSC wood with a thickness of 15 mm. It contains ventilation holes and drainage holes for a healthy indoor climate and is equipped with a sturdy hanging hook. The front opens, making cleaning easy. The dimensions are 17 cm cm long, 19 cm cm wide and 30 cm cm high, with a weight of 1.26 kg.

For proper placement, hang the nest box at a height of at least 2 meters in a quiet spot, out of full sun. Preferably point the opening to the northeast, as rain often comes from the southwest. Make sure there are no branches in front of the entrance. Place nest boxes of the same species at least 10 meters apart and nest boxes for different species at least 3 meters apart. Remove old nesting material and clean the nest box with hot water and a brush in September.
